I e-mailed house dj Gabe Real asking him where I could find a copy of Selections. I got a promo copy of the cd through Feedback a few years ago and listed to it every day. Of course, cds don't last long, so the only useful thing I could get from it was Gabe's e-mail address and a phone number, probably his booking agent's. Despite the fact that Gabe doesn't have much of a web presence, I don't think I'll be hearing from him the way I've heard from some other talented, far-flung djs. He may not even be a dj anymore. Or he may be so big in his hometown Detroit that he doesn't have time for random Austin girls with music cravings. I'd be willing to go out and buy a replacement if I knew where I could get one. It's not exactly your typical Amazon.com fare.
