I'm currently digging a station called Wax out of Paris. Since I'm a house addict with a particular taste for that which is French, I know it's a real shocker that I would like a station like this. Although the music on this station is far superior, I still wonder whatever happened to Radio Sputnik from Germany.
Anyway, here's a lyric that I heard and liked:
I've got a sparkling pair of eyes especially the right It was designed to turn around and watch me from inside My brain's a wonderful creation well-connected to my head God gave me sweet imagination it's sometimes helpful in bed
I guess it caught my eye (ear?) because my left eye is kinda fucked up so I have to concentrate on how awesome my right eye is. I think I want to have surgery for it again, even though Dr. Wong swears up and down that I can see 20/20 out of it. I don't think the TV and road signs would be blurry if that were the case. A reason to go back to Austin, I guess...
No, probably not. But it is of personal note that I am officially obsessed with two songs from Naked Music's Bare Essentials: Volume One. I've had this album for awhile, but recent events have caused me to listen to these two tracks nonstop.
The first song is "Music & Wine (Th' Attaboy Vocal)" by Blue Six. I used to exercise to the Conga mix of this song all the time. The lyrics are all too true and the beat is great in both mixes. The Conga mix reminds me of when I was about 16 and life was strange and I wasn't particularly happy or unhappy. And the Vocal mix reminds me of now. I'll determine my true mental state once this stage of my life has passed, for obvious reasons.
The second song is "You Are Love (Original Version)" by Lovetronic. Can't explain this one. It's kind of like the falling action you need to ride out a story with a huge climax. The important stuff has already happened, but you can't just stop there - you have to ease out of it.
In other news, I listed to Junior Senior's "Move Your Feet" on the way to work, so it's gonna be a good day!
